ok here are the stats we have decided on for sure; health, strength, speed, reiatsu, toughness, endurance. Each rank will recieve a certain amount of stat points to allocate into those stats. However those who started as a certain rank will have more than someone who ranked up to it. For example, someone who starter as a lieutenant will recieve more stat points than someone who ranked up to it unless they bought more or trained for it. Now what i was thinking of is if for example (these are not the number they are an example) If a lieutenant starts with 60 points and a 3rd seat starts with 30 points, if that 3rd seat ranks up to lieutenant they will recieve half the difference so 15 points. Now hierro will increase ones toughness so there will be no issues over whose hierro can take what hit. Now here are the areas the stat sytem will govern.

Health- how much health you have determines how much damage you can take before you die

Strength- how much force is behind your blows or how hard you can punch.

Speed- how fast your character can move (obviously

toughness- how much damage you take from attacks

Reiatsu- how much reiatsu you can use before you run out, note that when it starts getting low you will not be able to use bankai or segunda etapa or if even lower even shikai.

Endurance- determines how many posts you can last

all of this is subject to change so thoughts? opinions? suggestions? Everything here is subject to change, and this thread is for helpful comments on how to improve the stat system not complaining about its existence, this is happening now.

I think the Reishi Manipulation should be a factor as something to determine how well you can perform Cero, Quincy arrow, and Hakudo. Quincy should get an automatic boost to Reishi manipulation, since they are indeed almost entirely based on manipulating the substance
Also I think every race should have a certain boost that makes them appealing to a certain person's playstyle. While at the same time not to be so geared. For example a shinigami player wants to fight long ranged hakudo but the boost of the shinigami almost makes it so that he wouldn't be able to keep up with a normal quincy as far as manipulation. Make it so that while a certain race brings a heightened boost to a certain play-style but at the same time players are able to morph this to there unique needs.

good idea shuu i will add that, also here is what i'm thinking for the starting stats. rank 5 will start with 30, rank 4 will get 60, rank 3 will get 100, rank 2 will get 150 and rank 1 will get 220 to start. Also i was thinking that the number of posts you can do is your endurance divided by 4 and if you have a post where don't do anything but analyze your opponent you gain 1 post back.

How will those of leader rank gain more points? They obviously wont be getting regular missions, they can only give them out.

You don't really get them for missions, i mean you can buy them from ryo earned from missions but it's gonna be expensive. Leaders will mainly do training post for them. I'll probaby think of a way for leaders to get them besides that though.

I don't mean to seem pushy for power... Which is inevitably how I'll appear lol... But how about give the race leaders a few bonus points to start as well? I also don't think it should be post based as much as content based. I can make plenty of posts but they wont hold any real meaning.

to avoid arguements such as who can survive what, like to stop from saying well you took this attack earlier and this attack before that so you should be dead right now or more injured

That's why we have the toughness (durability) stat. And an endurance stat should be added as well (the endurance stat you've described is stamina).

Just have everyone describe the power of their attacks. It's the same as slapping a "damage count" on it, except it's more specific and detailed.

All I know is that health systems are going to complicate things a lot more than it'd solve. How can we calculate damage counts for attacks to vital areas? Surely an attacks to different areas of the body would accumulate different amounts of damage. How can we calculate the damage counts for generic attacks like punches, kicks, etc.. Or if a sneak-attack occurs and the person could not defend from an attack? A blitz attack from the back while completely unpredicted would result in far more damage than the normal damage suffered by a blitz attack from the back if the person reacted to it and readied their body to take it.
Overall, there are way too many situations that a health system simply cannot handle. They are, in my experience, ineffective and inefficient.


Everything else looks fine to me.
